      Reef Encounter is the coolest thing ever! It was truly one of the highlights of my 2006 trip to Australia. I spent 2 nights aboard and wish it could’ve been for longer. The accommodations, staff, food were all top notch. My only recommendation…bring your own towels.

      Oh bring on that spa! Shoot, if I make it to QUT for 2 semesters like I’m trying I sure hope there will be organized tours to the Great Barrier Reef. I’m not so quick to travel alone, much less internationally. Last time I left the U.S. was 12 years ago when I went to Saudi Arabia, but I think it’s high time to explore the world down under (something I’ve never done, even during my time in the Air Force).
